🧠 Phase 3 – Adaptive Agents
Focuses on learning pipelines and an agent marketplace. Delivered unified chat interfaces, hybrid evolution engines, domain‑aware memory stores, offline reinforcement learning services, and outcome signal registries. Work continues on multi‑source work intake, knowledge adaptation, streaming event catalogs, containerized execution, marketplace catalogs and status query services. 🌐 Phase 4 – Ecosystem Scale
Targets autonomous collaboration and a fully extensible ecosystem. Ongoing initiatives include unified API access, multi‑source work intake, knowledge adaptation consent & telemetry, real‑time event catalogs, containerized execution, marketplace services, and natural‑language status insights. 🪐 Phase 5 – Federated Autonomy
Imagines cross‑organization collaboration and self‑optimizing agent networks. This phase introduces a global federation of interconnected agent clusters, protocols for cross‑organization task delegation, and distributed governance systems. It also defines sharing of evolved patterns (anonymized PML entries) and a meta‑evaluator agent to curate incoming patterns. Planning will begin after Phase 4 foundations are established.
🧩 Phase 6 – Neuro‑Symbolic Fabric
Introduces a neuro‑symbolic fabric where neural agents propose and symbolic validators approve or repair plans. It defines a Constraint IR to express workspace rules and a Symbolic Validator Service that runs before code or infrastructure generation. The router will prefer plans that satisfy constraints, improving explainability and compliance for regulated customers.
🏭 Phase 7 – Autonomous Software Plant
Turns CoffeeBreakAI from an intelligent assistant into a software plant that can orchestrate full SDLC flows from planning to deployment with human gates. It reuses pattern memory to deploy reliable chains, preserves human‑in‑the‑loop pause/resume at any stage, and includes rollback logic.
🕸️ Phase 8 – Ecosystem Governance & Markets
Introduces governance, reputation and cost signals so multiple CoffeeBreakAI instances (customer‑hosted, partner‑hosted, managed SaaS) can collaborate safely. Objectives include adding reputation for agents and patterns, enforcing federation policies, making routing cost‑ and carbon‑aware and exposing marketplace‑style views.
