Reviewer Workflows
Reviewer workflows describe how humans interact with tasks that require attention.
Typical Flow
- A task enters Awaiting Review.
- It appears in one or more reviewer queues based on workspace rules.
- A reviewer opens the task, inspects changes and context.
- The reviewer approves, rejects, or requests changes.
- The task transitions to Completed, Refinement, or another appropriate state.
Assignment Strategies
Workspaces can:
- Assign tasks to specific reviewers.
- Use reviewer pools or groups.
- Allow self-selection within a queue.
Collaboration
- Multiple reviewers can comment on the same task.
- Ownership and final decision-making can be restricted to certain roles.
This workflow keeps humans firmly in the loop while letting CoffeeBreakAI handle the repetitive parts of preparation and context gathering.
